On Saturday, MP M. Bharat from Rajamahendravaram advised former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu not to put his health at risk by becoming too excited.
The MP told the media that Naidu should not be concerned about paddy farmers since the state government is taking all necessary measures to assist them.
Bharat claimed that Naidu was frustrated by the low attendance of farmers at his meetings and was desperate to have an impact on the people.
The MP questioned Naidu about visiting the districts to console farmers. He pointed out that when 29 pilgrims had died during Pushkaralu, Naidu did not bother to console their families even though he had been the chief minister then.
Bharat suggested that Naidu should observe the progress made in Rajamahendravaram under the Jagan government and that the city would continue to receive upgrades over the next six months.
