Who advised KCR not to make Dalit a CM?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has finally admitted that he did not make a Dalit as the first chief minister of Telangana, for various reasons.

KCR went on to say at the press conference on Monday that even senior Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka had advised him not to give the CM post to a Dalit.

“He asked me to take over as the chief minister for the better administration of the new state,” he said.

He pointed out that not making Dalit as the chief minister was no more an issue, as he had got the people’s mandate for the second time. Readmore!

“They voted for me for the second time, though I did not make a Dalit as the CM. So, there is no issue,” he said.

Bhatti Vikramarka took strong exception to the chief minister trying to shift the blame on him (Bhatti) for not giving the CM post to a Dalit.

“KCR is a super liar. He is shamelessly admitting that he did not fulfil the promise of making a Dalit CM. Unfortunately, he is dragging my name into this,” he said.

The Congress leader wondered when he and KCR had met or had a conversation in 2014 about Dalit CM issue.

“Mr KCR @TelanganaCMO? Please explan. #shameonkcr,” he tweeted.

Bhatti expressed surprise over the statement of the chief minister for following his advice.

“Mr KCR, are you pretending that you are my follower and listen to all my advices? If there's truth in your claim, then now follow my advice and resign to make a Dalit CM. Everyone knows that you are a habitual liar. But now you seem to be living in an illusionary world,” the Congress leader said.
