Sriram Venu’s Icon was announced as #AA21 a year ago.
The MCA director and Dil Raju were confident that Allu Arjun will do Icon after Pushpa. They had even released a poster on the actor’s birthday this year.
However, Allu Arjun has altered his plans after Ala Vaikunthapurramulo has proved his true potential as a crowd puller.
He doesn’t want to work with an inexperienced director at this point of his career. Hence, he is going with Koratala Siva after Sukumar’s film.
Sriram Venu was hoping that Allu Arjun would surely do Icon after Pushpa. But now he should find some other star to take it forward.
Therefore, Vakeel Saab’s result becomes all the more crucial for his future as a filmmaker.
Allu Arjun’s decision to snub Icon also is a huge disappointment for ace producer Dil Raju who wants to line up big budgeted movies post the corona crisis.
