This weekend at USA box-office, entertaining movies saw good collection. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama “Padmaavat” continued its dream run at North American box-office. The film is now all set to break the record of Aaamir Khan’s “PK” in Noth America.
By end of its second weekend, the film grossed whopping $9,012,569 (cumulative gross).
“Padmaavaat” is now all-time fourth biggest Indian movie at North American box-office after “Baahubali 2” ($20 million), “Dangal” ($12.5 million), “PK” ($10.58 million).
Despite tough competition with “Padmaavat”, Telugu films had witnessed good turnout too. The new release “Chalo” had a dream run.
With good talk and favorable reviews, this Naga Shaurya and Rashmika starrer had collected nearly half a million dollars which is most profitable Telugu film this year.
The distributors are already in profits. This is Naga Shaurya’s highest grosser as a solo hero in USA.

On the other hand, Ravi Teja’s “Touch Chesi Chudu” bombed like anything. The film started its run on below par note and ended up a flop.

As reported earlier, Anushka’s “Bhaagamathie” has joined the $1 million club this weekend. The film has a decent run in its second weekend.
