Is star hero Allu Arjun at odds with Mythri distributors? Reports suggest that the actor is unhappy about the huge hike of ticket prices for early premiers.
Adding to that the opening of all shows on bookmyshow at a time for advance booking also irked him as per sources. Bunny's approach appears to differ from theirs.
He reportedly intended to schedule shows strategically—adding shows one by one starting with morning shows and then early morning screenings, followed by midnight shows, and ending with special premieres.
In Hyderabad, however, the screenings—excluding the early premieres—were all opened simultaneously.
Now, the sources say that Bunny directed to stop all the midnight shows which are planned at 1:30 AM. That means, the next show after 9:30 PM show will be 5 AM show only.
There is a reason behind Bunny's decision. He believes that audiences attending midnight shows might not fully engage with the movie either due to drowsiness or being in inebriated mode, potentially leading to unnecessary negative feedback.
Due to this, shows from the early premieres on the previous night until 5:00 AM have not yet been made available.
Currently, BookMyShow appears to be showing all slots as unavailable, sparking speculation that tickets may have been blocked.
Interestingly, audiences seem more drawn to the post-9:30 PM special premieres, given the noticeable price difference of up to Rs 800 between the shows.
Ultimately, the movie's box office performance will hinge on the public's reception and word-of-mouth buzz. We have to see what is in store.
