The pre-release event of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ was held in grand style amidst Mass Maharaj fans.
Speaking first at the event, Ileana said it was director Sreenu Vaitla’s fault (idea) to make her dub in Telugu for the first time. She hopes it has come out and wishes to do more Telugu films.
About working with Ravi Teja the Goan beauty replied that he is a very good friend and his energy is next level.
“It doesn’t appear that I’m working with him and that’s how comfortable he makes us. I want to work more with Ravi Teja in many more films.”
Next, director Sreenu Vaitla said Ravi Teja is his troubleshooter as whenever he is low in his career, the Mass hero gave him the much needed energy. He did the same in the past with ‘Venky’ ‘Dubai Seenu’ and now with ‘Amar Akbar Anthony.’
He added that he along with his team have worked on the script of the film for about eight months. The journey of ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ is memorable. ‘AAA’ is the most luxurious film Vaitla ever made and he credited producers Mythri Movie Makers for their support.
Hero Ravi Teja addressing the gathering said, keeping Viatla’s wit and all aside, he is a great actor and if we just do at least half of what he does, we would get a lot of recognition.
“Amar Akbar Anthony’ is going to be a combination of romance like ‘NeeKosam’ and entertainment like ‘Venky’ and ‘Dubai Seenu.”
About the producers, Ravi Teja said it was pleasure working with them and looking forward to more films in future.
‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ is a total entertainer said producer Naveen. Complimenting director Sreenu Vaitla, he is the director and also the producer of the film.
“He (Vaitla) controlled the budget and made sure there was no wastage as he took the responsibility. I thank him for that,” added Naveen.
The film is releasing on November 16th.
