It appears troubles are brewing for sacked chief executive officer of popular television channel Ravi Prakash from all sides.
Even as the police have launched a manhunt for Ravi Prakash in connection with the alleged forgery case filed by Alanda Media Entertainments secretary Kaushik Rao, there is a talk in the media circles that some past and present women employees of the channel are contemplating filing another complaint against him with #MeToo allegations.
Though Ravi Prakash’s name too was heard during the sensational #MeToo scam in various media houses that rocked the country a few months ago, nobody came forward with any complaint.
Now that he is out of the channel, the victims are said to be planning to lodge a complaint against him.
In fact, ever since the channel was bought over by the new management closer to ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi leadership, there have been efforts to target Ravi Prakash and they were only waiting for the right opportunity.
The flashpoint in the entire episode was Ravi Prakash’s attempts to corner the new management using Telugu actor Shivaji by selling his stakes to him.
And when Ravi Prakash was doing a special story on suicides of students in the wake of goofs-up in the Intermediate board results, the new management brought pressure on him to stop the story.
And when Ravi Prakash did not listen, the new management fired the salvo in the form of forgery case, sources said.
