Naidu given a week deadline to vacate Lingamaneni house!

TDP chief and former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu got a shocker from the YSRCP government today morning.

Following the directions of AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the AP CRDA officials issued notices to Naidu to vacate his house Lingamaneni estate constructed on the bank of Krishna River against the norms, within a week or face demolition.

Interestingly, this is the second notice served to Naidu to vacate the house after Jagan became CM in May.

Jagan launched crackdown against illegal constructions on Krishna river bund by demolishing the state government's Praja Vedika within few days of coming to power.

He has now decided to demolish private illegal buildings on the river bund.

The notices were issued on the name of Lingamaneni Ramesh, the owner of the building. He leased the building to Naidu, who used this as his official residence when he was CM since 2016.

Naidu did not vacate the house even after the first notice was served two months ago.

Recently, Naidu's house got flooded due to floods in Krishna. Even afer Naidu refused to vacate the house. With this, the CRDA officials issued second notice today.

Interestingly, a deadline of just seven days has been given to Naidu to vacate the house in the second notice, while the first notice did not specify any deadline.

Though Lingamaneni Ramesh gave explanation to the first notice saying that he build the house after taking requisite approvals from then Congress government, officials felt that his explanation was 'unsatisfactory'.

CRDA officials claimed that Lingameni built ground floor, first floor, swimming pool, dressing room in the first floor in deviation of the approved building plan.

It remains to be seen whether Naidu will vacate the house on his own within a week or will be forced to vacate the house by YSRCP government's demolition drive against illegal buildings.
