KCR decides to go all out against Modi?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to have decided to go all out against the Narendra Modi government in the Centre, instead of displaying a nonchalant attitude.

It was evident from the way the KCR cabinet took a strong stand against implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the country, discriminating against some sections of people on the basis of religion while granting the citizenship.

While demanding that the Centre abrogate the CAA to prevention discrimination of people on the basis of religion, the Telangana cabinet also decided to adopt a resolution in the ensuing budget session of the state assembly opposing the implementation of the CAA in the country.

The victory in the local body elections, municipal elections and cooperative elections clearly established that there is virtually no opposition in the state. Neither the Congress nor the BJP will have any strong leadership that can match up to the TRS, he felt.

That is precisely the reason why KCR has decided to take on the NDA strongly and raise the voice on behalf Telangnana and other states that are being ignored by the Modi government.

If he can consolidate all the anti-BJP forces, KCR can hope to play a major role at the Centre in the coming days.
