The vote of confidence to YSRCP in municipal elections is a clear verdict for three capitals. Villages, towns or cities, the choice of people is development and welfare. The choice is Hon’ble Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Rathnakar R Pandugayala, Andhra Pradesh Government Special Representative to North America describes the historic victory of YSRCP in the recent civic body polls.
Lauding the YSRCP for achieveing an unprecedented victory in the history of Andhra Pradesh, Rathnakar said that the results are a referendum on the administration of Chief Minister Sri YS Jagan, and his major decision of decentralised development.
“Panchayat, Municipal and Corporation election results are better than the 2019 General and Assembly election results; the 2019 victory was a mandate born out of expectations by the electorate, whereas the recent election results are a loud and clear endorsement of YS Jagan garu’s leadership” said Rathnakar reminiscing the recent Panchayat victory with a towering 82.65% majority. He reiterated that it was historic that YSRCP was given more support than any other party in any state across the country.
Sharing the results, Rathnakar said the YSRCP had won in 1754 wards out of 2123 wards in 75 municipalities across the state, while the TDP was limited to just 270 seats. Efforts made by the opposition and the yellow media to distract people from welfare activities by false propaganda and spread of misinformation, went in vain. People could see through the lies of the opposition.
Rathnakar R Pandugayala said that Chief Minister YS Jagan's efforts to rectify irregularities and injustices committed by Chandrababu were going in the right direction and were paving the way for the development of the state.
