Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s recent comments have brought much-needed clarity about his upcoming projects.
During a detailed interaction, Lokesh spoke about several developments, but one statement stood out. He revealed that “Allu Arjun sir and I have been in touch for a long time.”
This remark is significant, especially in the context of Lokesh’s earlier interactions with leading Telugu stars.
After the success of Vikram, Ram Charan reportedly invited Lokesh to his residence, where discussions were held about a possible collaboration.
Around the same period, Mythri Movie Makers also showed interest in bringing Lokesh together with Prabhas and even facilitated a meeting between the director and the star. However, none of these talks eventually materialised.
While Lokesh was holding discussions with major names such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ram Charan, Aamir Khan, and Prabhas, Allu Arjun appears to have taken a quieter and more strategic approach.
The actor reportedly asked Lokesh to first develop a solid script and approach him once it was ready.
As things turned out, Allu Arjun was impressed with Lokesh’s story idea, while approvals from the other stars did not come immediately.
This calm and decisive approach seems to have laid the foundation for their much-discussed collaboration.
