It is no secret that Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu’s third movie which was launched last month landed in soup due to the disastrous result of “Ruler” that didn’t even recover 25 percent of the investment leaving producers and distributors in high and dry.
Producer Miriyala Ravinder Reddy got cold feet after seeing the low returns of Balakrishna’s “Ruler”. However, he didn’t shelve the film as rumors went overdrive.
The producer asked Boyapati to drastically cut down the budget which is pegged at Rs 70 crore. GreatAndhra.com has reported all these developments.
The latest addition is that Boyapati is entirely rewriting the script of this movie to meet the budget constraints. His earlier vision was lavish. This new script will meet the modest production estimation.
Balakrishna’s films have become a risky affair. Boyapati is also at the low phase. Although fans trended #NBK106 on New Year’s day hoping to get an official statement about the film, Boyapati kept silent.
