Fresh remarks by Vijay Sai Reddy during a media interaction have triggered sharp reactions, particularly over the scale of allegations he made against N Chandrababu Naidu.
Responding to questions about the Enforcement Directorate searches at his premises, Vijay Sai Reddy turned the focus toward the TDP chief with striking claims.
“The searches should not happen at my house. They should be conducted at Chandrababu Naidu’s premises. His monthly earnings through corruption are â¹5,000 crore, which amounts to â¹60,000 crore per year and â¹3 lakh crore over five years. Even that, I would say, is minimal. What will he do with that money? He is nearing 80 years of age and has only one son. Ultimately, everyone has to die one day. At least before death, doing some good deeds will bring fulfilment,” Vijay Sai Reddy said.
He further escalated his criticism, alleging that the former Chief Minister had accumulated enormous wealth over decades in public life.
“I would advise him to do some good deeds at least now. Wealth alone will not bring satisfaction or happiness. Only public service will endure and bring true fulfilment,” he added.
