After putting up a pretty good show in its first weekend, Sailaja Reddy Alludu collections came crashing down on its first Monday. Morning shows on Tuesday further crashed as per trade reports.
The film registered good openings given the pre release buzz and other attractions. However, word of mouth has been very poor right from the first show.
Akkineni fans were elated with the opening day collections and estimated the film to enter Rs. 40 crore club. But the alarming drop in collections isn’t a bright sign for the film that still needs to collect around Rs. 10 crore to breakeven.
However, with no big releases lined up for release on this Friday, Shailaja Reddy Alludu can still hope on having a strong second weekend at box office.
Although Shailaja Reddy Alludu did reasonably well in domestic circuit, it is heading for a big flop in overseas.
Due to its below par performance in the first weekend, SRA will finish somewhere around the half million mark in USA.
