Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan's upcoming film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' initially planned for a Christmas Day release this year.
The movie is a remake of Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump'(1994) starring Tom Hanks. Advait Chandan is directing the film.
Like all the film units in the industry, 'Lal Singh Chaddha' team also stalled the shooting after the lockdown restrictions came in to effect.
Now, many state governments have given the required permissions for film shoots. So, they have planned to resume their new schedule in New Delhi from July 15. The team is busy with preparations but they got a sudden jolt.
The reports from the Bollywood media reveal that 7 members among the Aamir Khan's staff have been tested positive for Covid-19.
His two bodyguards, cook, and driver were among them. This sudden development has put the 'Lal Singh Chaddha' team in a fix.
They are assessing the situation on how to proceed with the New Delhi schedule. They are planning to postpone until things settle down.
This will further delay the shooting and the release of 'Lal Singh Chaddha'.
