Akhilesh backs KCR front, but silent on Cong!

Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday virtually gave a life to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s attempt to float a federal front of regional parties.

Akhilesh could not meet KCR in New Delhi as he was preoccupied with some other meetings, but he told media that the efforts of KCR to form the federal front of regional parties were very much welcome.

He said he would support KCR’s attempts and said there was a need for forging such an alliance in the country.

Akhilesh said efforts were on for the last several months to bring all parties together. Readmore!

He congratulated KCR for initiating efforts in this direction, as people of the country had realized that they had been betrayed by BJP.

He said that he would meet KCR in Hyderabad after January 7. He declared ending BJP's rule in the country as his party's goal and lashed out at BJP government for destroying the law and order situation in the country.

Interestingly, Akhilesh did not make any comments on the Congress party.

It is an open secret that Akhilesh and Congress president Rahul Gandhi are friends and if necessary, he will be the first person to join hands with the Congress to prevent the BJP from returning to power. He keeps his options open on this alliance issues!
