Acharya's Desperate Attempt to Promote it as a Multi-starrer

Director Koratala Siva has suddenly started proclaiming that “Acharya” is a multi-starrer movie, not just a Chiranjeevi starrer.

Apparently, Ram Charan’s role, which was earlier written as a special appearance and designed as a 15-minute role, has now been extended.

Koratala Siva, in the latest media interviews, is insisting that Ram Charan has a full-length role in the film. Why this sudden change took place? Has the story been rewritten after a young writer leveled allegations against Koratala Siva of stealing his story?

Or is it a desperate attempt by the makers to recover the production cost, which has exceeded the budget estimation due to multiple delays, by making it a mega multi-starrer? Readmore!

“Acharya” was launched as Megastar’s 152nd film, not as a multi-starrer. Ram Charan’s character was designed as a cameo.

When Koratala approached Mahesh Babu to essay this role, the director clearly said his role would not exceed 20 minutes of runtime. Apparently, Ram Charan’s role has now been extended to more than 45 minutes.
