Warangal Srinu became a controversial name, after he launched attack on star producer Dil Raju over theatres allocation for Krack.

This distributor offered Rs 4 Cr for theatrical rights of Prashanth Varma’s high concept film Zombie Reddy. However, the makers rejected the offer, as they are pretty confident over the project.

The film has done good pre-release business (non-theatrical) which is an encouraging sign.

While satellite rights were acquired by Star Maa for Rs 2.5 Cr, Hindi dubbing rights fetched 2 Cr.

Excluding OTT rights, non-theatrical rights fetched the makers of Zombie Reddy an astonishing Rs 4.5 Cr. which is a huge sum for a young hero film.

Prashanth Varma factor and the curiosity the promotional content created helped the film making good noise.

Anandhi and Daksha Nagarkar played leading ladies in the film which is first based on corona and zombie themes.

Zombie Reddy is scheduled for release worldwide on 5th February.
