YSRC to play big role in national politics!

YSR Congress party president and leader of opposition in Andhra Pradesh Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday vowed to play an instrumental role in national politics after the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing “Samara Sankharaavam” (Sounding the war bugle) at Tirupati, the YSRC chief said his party would take on all the other parties – the Telugu Desam Party, the Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Jana Sena and go ahead on its own in the coming elections.

“We shall win all the 25 MP seats to have a pivotal role to play in national politics. We shall support that party which assures special category status to Andhra Pradesh and stands by our aspirations.” He said.

Jagan has already held talks with Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao on the issue of floating a federal front with an assurance that the TRS would take up the demand for special category status. Readmore!

KCR is expected to visit Amaravati area to attend the house warming ceremony of Jagan’s house-cum-office at Tadepalli and might continue the talks of federal front.

If Jagan can win at least 20 MP seats, as predicted by several surveys and TRS wins not less than 15 seats, both the parties with 35 seats in their kitty, could play a big role at the national level.

And that is what Jagan means in saying that his party would play a pivotal role in the national politics.
