Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film’s teaser was released a few days ago.
Though details about when the film went on floors or how much shooting is complete are not known, the teaser has quickly caught the attention of family audiences.
The teaser has been well received, especially because of the two shades seen in Samantha’s character. This has naturally triggered business enquiries.
Since it is a Samantha-backed project, there is talk that Suresh Babu may handle the film’s marketing.
While it is not yet clear how far this plan will go, the Andhra distribution rights are said to be open at the moment.
Sources say the makers are quoting a strong price for the Andhra and Rayalaseema regions combined, with the figure said to be above â¹5 crore.
A few distributors have already started negotiations, though the final deal value is yet to be known.
The film’s buzz is also boosted by the involvement of the Family Man creator, who is backing the story. All these factors together seem to have pushed up the demand and value of Maa Inti Bangaram in the trade.
