Even as the Telugu Desam Party and the farmers of Amaravati capital region are strongly protesting the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s move to shift the administrative capital to Visakhapatnam, the ruling YSRC is planning to give an impression that it is a day of festivities across the state.
Apparently, YSRC president and chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed the party leaders to ensure that the entire state celebrates the decentralisation plan.
As per his instructions, party senior leader and advisor to the government on public affairs Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy issued a circular to all the party offices in the state.
According to this message, the party leaders should make preparations for holding celebrations in their respective districts, soon after Jagan presents the bill on decentralisation of administration for balanced development of Andhra Pradesh in the assembly.
“After passing this Bill in assembly, the party high command decides that the cadre celebrate this historical moment by bursting crackers in a big way and take out bike rallies in all mandals and district headquarters,” the message said.
Reddy askes all the party leaders and cadres to make the programme a big success.
