Initially, it was reported that only Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan were invited as special guests to Nara Chandrababu Naidu's swearing-in ceremony as Andhra Pradesh's new Chief Minister. However, further updates indicate that an increasing number of celebrities are receiving invitations.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for June 12 near Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh.
Chandrababu Naidu personally called Superstar Rajinikanth and invited him to be the event's main guest. Actor Nikhil Siddharth is also attending.
Interestingly, NTR Jr. did not receive an invitation. Despite some media and social media reports suggesting that TDP leaders had called and invited NTR Jr. to the ceremony, inside sources confirm that no such invitation was extended.
NTR Jr. has maintained his distance from Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP for a long time. He has stated that his primary focus is on cinema and that he will continue to avoid politics. It is widely known that NTR Jr. and his uncle Naidu do not get along well.
Recently, NTR Jr. and his brother Kalyan Ram congratulated Naidu and Lokesh on their significant victory via social media.
