Writer BVS Ravi tried his luck as the director for two films- Gopichand's 'Wanted' and Sai Dharam Tej's 'Jawaan'.
In recent times he became popular with his contribution to Balakrishna's Unstoppable2 show.
Now he is also appearing on screen and the latest one was a cameo from Dhamaka where he appeared as Malakpet Dada.
As per the inside sources, Ravi made his presence on screen with the films Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. Though they are guest roles, they have some value in the story as per the sources.
Ravi also appeared earlier in Gopichand Malineni's Krack. His screen presence and acting prowess are impressive and he certainly has better future as an actor if he takes it seriously.
Of course, acting fetches better earnings than that of writing. There were many writer turned full time actors like Gollapudi and LB Sriram.
Right now Ravi is busy narrating a story to a hero. He is more focussed on direction as of now. But the critics feel that Ravi has all that in him to shine better as an actor.
