Why Did Jagan Drop London Tour Plan?

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who was supposed to leave for London along with his family members on Thursday morning, suddenly drop his plan and stayed back in Hyderabad.

Speculations were rife that Jagan had dropped the plan because of some serious political activity.

In fact, a section of media even linked the cancellation of his London trip to the cancellation of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s tour to World Economic Forum meeting at Davos.

But inquiries revealed that the reason for Jagan’s cancellation of London was different. Readmore!

According to original plan, Jagan was to go on a five-day trip and return to Hyderabad on January 22.

After completing more than 14 months in padayatra across the state, Jagan wanted to spend some time with his elder daughter Varsha Reddy who is pursuing her under-graduation course in economics in London School of Economics.

The last time Jagan saw his daughter was in the last week of October 2017, a few days before the commencement of his padayatra on November 6.

So, he thought he would get physically and mentally relaxed by meeting his daughter in London and spending time with her along with the family for some time.

However, Varsha is now said to be busy with her examinations and she conveyed to his father that she would not be able to spend time with him and the family because of the examinations. That is precisely why Jagan postponed his London visit.

May be he will reschedule his visit after a few days when Varsha becomes free. Otherwise, she will plan her visit to Hyderabad to spend time with the entire family!
