Who is spending money on lawyers, Satya asks Jagan

The BJP national leadership has been silent on the arrest and imprisonment of Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the alleged skill development corporation scam.

But some BJP leaders in Andhra Pradesh are directly or indirectly coming to the defence of Naidu and questioning the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government for allegedly harassing the TDP chief.

On Tuesday, BJP national general secretary Y Satya Kumar, who is known for his pro-Chandrababu Naidu stand, lashed out at the chief minister for saying that he had no role to play in the arrest of Naidu in the skill development case as he was away in London at that time.

“If that is the case, one can understand what a pitiable condition the state administration is there under the Jagan regime. If he doesn’t know who had arrested Naidu, why is he playing dirty tricks of throwing the blame on the BJP?” Satya asked. Readmore!

He sought to know if Jagan didn’t know why and who had arrested the opposition leader, who the invisible force is, who is giving directions to the CID.

“Who is spending hundreds of crores of people’ money on private lawyers to fight the case on behalf of the CID against Naidu? Who is that magnanimous rich guy?” he asked.

Satya also wanted to know who was the ghost writer who was providing the script for such heckling comments and ugly gestures.

“You don’t know how to conduct review meetings on drought and power crisis. You anyway don’t know the management of irrigation and power supply position. You don’t remember paying salaries to the employees on time,” he criticised.

He also accused the chief minister of not supplying text books for school children, nutritious food for pregnant women, not laying proper roads, spending sub-plan money for the Dalits and providing jobs to the unemployment youth.

“When you can’t deliver all these, what is the point in having you as the chief minister, Mr Jagan?” he asked.
