Netflix has officially set April 16 as the premiere date for Pawan Kalyan’s film, making it available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Released during the Ugadi festive season, the film generated pre-release buzz but flopped big time in theaters.
The film turned out to be the biggest flop in his career. It could not even post Rs 100 crore worldwide gross. In North America, the film’s lifetime gross was just under $800k.
After such a massive flop, Pawan Kalyan put hold of all of his next movies. The makers are now hoping for a better response in the digital space.
Helmed by Harish Shankar, the film features Pawan Kalyan in a powerful cop role. Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna play the female leads, while R. Parthiban appears as the main antagonist.
Its OTT release will now determine if it can gain a second life among home viewers.
