In the upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, megastar Amitabh Bachchan reveals his favorite guilty pleasure food—Vada Pav.
During a light-hearted conversation with contestant Harsha Upadhyay, a teacher from Gujarat, Amitabh shares that while he may not be familiar with all dishes, there’s one snack he absolutely loves: Vada Pav.
When Harsha asks him if he enjoys churma, Amitabh laughs and responds, “I may not know all the dishes, but Vada Pav is my favorite.”
He adds, “Usse badhkar koi cheez nahi hai, chhota sa hai par lekin itna badiya hai… har jagah milta hai—sirf desh mein hi nahi, par videsh mein bhi” (There’s nothing better than that; it’s small, but so delicious… you can find it everywhere—not just in India, but abroad too). The charming exchange highlights the warm bond between the host and his contestants.
Meanwhile, actors Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan recently appeared on the show to promote their upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
In another conversation, Amitabh expressed his regret at never having worked with iconic actress Meena Kumari.
Reflecting on her performance in Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam, he shared, “There’s a song—‘Na jaao saiyaan’—where Meena Kumari ji performed so gracefully that I found myself watching her continuously. The way she sat quietly, singing, with such radiance, created a marvellous effect.”
