The much-awaited film King, directed by Siddharth Anand and headlined by Shah Rukh Khan, has locked its release date.
The film is set for a grand festive release on December 24, 2026, raising expectations among fans across the globe.
Shah Rukh Khan is seen in a fierce and intense avatar in the film, delivering a powerful dialogue: “Darr nahi, dehshat hoon” (I am not fear, I am terror), which has already caught the attention of fans.
Last year, on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, Siddharth Anand unveiled the title reveal video of King, marking their second collaboration after Pathaan.
The reveal video was presented as a special tribute to SRK’s iconic journey in cinema and served as a birthday gift to his fans.
The title teaser introduced SRK with the striking line, “Sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam – KING.”
Fans also spotted an interesting Easter egg, with Shah Rukh Khan using a King of Hearts playing card as a weapon.
His silver-haired look, signature ear accessories, and sharp styling offered a glimpse of a completely new version of the superstar.
King promises to present Shah Rukh Khan in a never-seen-before avatar and deliver a fresh cinematic experience.
The film is described as a stylish, high-octane action entertainer, aiming to push the boundaries of scale, action, and storytelling.
The project is expected to be Siddharth Anand’s most mass-oriented film so far, taking his trademark action direction to a higher level.
The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, and also stars Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles.
