That Will Be Highly Unfair!

During the T-agitation, KCR made many promises just like any other politician. However, three political statements of his were very significant: The first one was that his children KTR and Kavitha would go back to US and Australia after the objective of Telangana was realised.

The second was that he would merge the TRS Party with the Congress once Telangana gets separate statehood.

The third was that a Dalit will become the first Chief Minister of the State of Telangana.

Now, the pink boss is seeking a second mandate from the people by relying on the ‘sentiment card’ again.

While it will be the people of Telangana who will make the final decision on whether or not to give KCR a second term, the TRS head cannot take the people for granted anymore.

The gossip everywhere is that KCR will crown his son as the Chief Minister if the TRS wins and either focus on national politics or continue as TRS President.

Therefore, KCR owes it to the people of Telangana to clear the air on this matter. Who will be the CM if KCR wins because it is not necessary that those who likes KCR likes his son as well or vice-versa.

Therefore, if KCR wins the polls and later makes KTR the CM, it will be highly unfair to the people of Telangana. They need to know the person who will officially be in charge.

As for the Congress, it has a habit of and rather unnecessary policy of keeping such things in abeyance until the last moment.

For instance, even when DR YSR led the Congress to a thumping victory in 2004, there was a whole lot of bureaucratic procedures and hurdles he had to overcome to be named as the Chief Minister.
