TDP Closed In Telangana, When Is It In AP?

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Telangana has decided not to contest the general election, leading to its closure in the state.

Although some TDP leaders are upset about this decision, the party's top leadership has made the choice to abstain from the election.

It remains to be seen which party these TDP leaders will support in the upcoming election – whether it will be the Congress or the BJP is now a question mark.

With the shutdown in Telangana, it may not be long before the party closes its operations in Andhra Pradesh as well. Readmore!

Within the state, TDP leaders are divided, especially with party chief N Chandrababu Naidu spending time in Rajamahendravaram central jail.

There is a lack of coordination among the leaders, and everyone seems to be a decision-maker within the party now.

Party General Secretary Nara Lokesh has struggled to establish control over the party and its leaders.

Some senior leaders do not acknowledge Lokesh's leadership, while others engage in activities without any clear purpose.

There is no organized agitation in support of Chandrababu Naidu, nor is there any action plan to propel the party forward.

Lokesh is not a match for Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in terms of campaigning. He lacks the ability to deliver an inspiring speech during elections to win the hearts of the voters.

If the party fails to perform well in the elections, especially with Chandrababu Naidu still in jail, it might lead to the closure of the party's activities in Andhra Pradesh as well. Otherwise, the TDP could end up like the communist parties in the state.
