Putting all doubts about the theatrical business amid coronavirus pandemic to the rest, Sai Tej’s “Solo Brathuke So Better” grossed more than Rs 10 crore in the first weekend from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
This comes as a great boon to the movie business.
The film has collected whopping Rs 10.79 crores in Telugu states in the first three days with just 50% occupancy.
The collections are on par with Sai Tej’s previous blockbuster “Prati Roju Pandage”, which was released before the pandemic.
“Solo Brathuke So Better” starred Sai Tej as a bachelor. Nabha Natesh is the heroine.
The film’s terrific openings have given confidence to the producers, who are planning their movies for the Sankranthi 2021 season.
