How long has it been since Sharwanand or Gopichand delivered a hit? Sudheer Babu has had occasional success, but proper openings remain rare. Even Ravi Teja, after Dhamaka, hasn’t had a solid hit, with producers burning crores on failed ventures.
Yet, films keep getting made. Sharwanand reportedly charges Rs 9 to Rs 10 crores, Gopichand demands Rs 7 crores, and some mega heroes fall into this category too. Even small heroes, who charge around Rs 1 crore, are causing losses.
Despite this, the industry keeps churning out films, making one wonder - why does this cycle never end?
