Salary cut for employees, a cruel move!

Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday strongly condemned the hasty decision to cut salaries of state government employees almost by 50% in Telangana by the state government led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Telangana BJP official spokesman K Krishna Sagar Rao said the party felt this was an extreme measure and was unwarranted at this stage of the current crisis. 

“BJP’s stand is vindicated on its earlier charge that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government had mismanaged the state finances, and is now in no position to administer the state,” he said.

The BJP spokesman said Telangana was the only state in India which has resorted to such an unprecedented step to initiate a punitive measure, to cut salaries of state government employees by half, especially at such a critical stage when the government employees need to deliver more. Readmore!

“It's atrocious that even the employee pension has been cut by 50%. BJP strongly objects to these irresponsible and unwarranted steps being taken by CM KCR,” Krishna Sagar Rao said.
