Former YSR Congress Party leader and ex-Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy has announced plans to launch a new media venture, beginning with a digital platform.
Sai Reddy took to his social media platform X to reveal that the digital platform will be launched soon, with its name to be announced shortly.
He stated that the initiative would function independently, without aligning with any political party, and aims to serve as a voice of the people.
The proposed platform will deliver news in Telugu, English, and Hindi, with a focus on balanced, fact-based reporting.
He emphasized that the outlet would highlight issues concerning common citizens, including women, youth, farmers, workers, and marginalized communities.
Sai Reddy also indicated that, in a later phase, a Telugu satellite news channel will be launched with the same editorial vision and values.
His tweet reads: “Dear friends, very soon we will be launching a digital media platform for news in Telugu, Hindi, and English. This platform will be balanced, unbiased, and committed to the truth.”
He said his aim is to give a voice to the people and highlight real issues that matter to the common man, women, youth, farmers, workers, and the underprivileged.
“The platform will remain independent and will not align with any political party. After a successful launch, we also plan to launch a Telugu satellite news channel with the same vision and values. The name of the platform will be announced soon. Stay tuned,” he added.
Sai Reddy, a chartered accountant by profession, joined the YSR Congress Party and became a Rajya Sabha member in 2016, securing a second term in 2022.
However, he resigned from his post prematurely in January last year, announcing his withdrawal from politics.
