Jai Bheem Party founder and advocate Jada Shravan Kumar, who has been targeting assembly deputy speaker Raghu Ramakrishna Raju for quite some time, made an interesting claim that he was offered a Telugu Desam Party ticket much before RRR got it in 2024 elections.
For the last few days, Shravan Kumar has been attacking RRR over the issue of notices served on churches in Akividu in West Godavari district.
Launching a fresh attack, Shravan Kumar claimed that the TDP had tried to lure him with a party ticket to contest the assembly elections in Undi assembly constituency.
“Raju was offered the Undi Assembly ticket just a day before filing nomination, whereas I had received an offer from TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu several months in advance,” he said.
Shravan Kumar further claimed that the current ruling coalition leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, are enjoying power today due to the struggles carried out by leaders like him between 2019 and 2024.
He asserted that senior TDP leader Nara Lokesh had personally acknowledged his role, even describing him as someone who protected the party like “Lord Vishnu.”
Shravan Kumar stated that although he did not win as an MLA, a time would come when he too would be in a position to respond politically.
He claimed that in the TDP hierarchy, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju held a marginal position, while he himself could have risen to a much higher rank, even becoming a minister, had he accepted the party’s offer earlier.
Shravan Kumar had contested from Mangalagiri against Nara Lokesh but suffered defeat, securing even fewer votes than NOTA.
