Revanth Reddy is believed to be a disciple of Chandrababu Naidu, a belief strongly held and cherished by pro-TDP Kammas.
A few days ago, on the 50th day of Chandrababu's imprisonment, a solidarity event was held in his support, where several speakers openly stated that Chandrababu was responsible for bringing developments such as Hitec City, ORR, Metro, Airport, and various other infrastructures to Hyderabad during his tenure.
However, just a few days later, TPCC President Revanth Reddy addressed the press, stating that while Chandrababu Naidu might have overseen the development of Hitec City, the foundation stone was laid by Nedurumalli Janardana Reddy, the then Congress Chief Minister.
He emphasized, "The Metro, ORR, IT Companies, International Airport, Pharma Companies were all brought to Hyderabad only by the Congress Government alone."
With this, Revanth made it clear that the claims made by Chandrababu and his supporters over the years were blatant lies.
In a way, he subtly betrayed the pro-TDP groups by indirectly giving credit to YSR without mentioning his name.
Revanth's actions are now perceived as quite threatening. A source suggested that while he has been considered a disciple of CBN thus far, if he wins and comes to power, he might keep CBN as his puppet.
