Rejected MLAs creating troubles to Jagan!

Having been denied party tickets for contesting the upcoming assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, some of the YSR Congress party MLAs are seeking to create troubles to the party and its president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in their respective constituencies.

On Friday, Pithapuram MLA Pendem Dorababu, who was denied the party ticket in the coming elections and replaced by Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha, is putting up a big show in the constituency in the name of his birthday celebrations.

Entire Pithapuram was adorned with the huge cutouts, banners and posters of Dorababu, but nowhere one could find the picture of Jagan Mohan Reddy or the YSR Congress party. Obviously, it was aimed at embarrassing Jagan and the party.

Dorababu will be holding a huge meeting of his supporters and followers and hosting them dinner. It is believed that he would announce his future course of action at the birthday celebrations. He is expected to quit the party to join either the Telugu Desam Party or Jana Sena. Readmore!

Another YSRC MLA Parvatha Prasad, who is also denied the ticket from Prathipadu constituency, has also decided to go into the people with a series of meetings and rallies in the name of “Praja Deevena.”

Prasad has been replaced by former MLA Varupula Subba Rao in Prathipadu. Though the MLA met Jagan during his recent visit to Kakinada, he was not given any assurance from the party president.

So, he decided to give a shock to the party by taking up public outreach programmes to explain the injustice done to him in the party. Though there was a talk that he would join the TDP, sources said Prasad is of the view that Jagan would change his mind after seeing the public response to his rallies and restore his ticket to him.

Former minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad is also disappointed a lot, as he realized that there is no chance of him getting the party ticket. He could not get the audience of Jagan despite making repeated attempts.

On Friday, he said he would wait for some more time to get a favourable response from Jagan.

“My future will be decided by Jagan and the god. Let me see what will happen,” he said, in a philosophical tone.
