'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' name is heard prominently during the lockdown period. Sithara Entertainments has acquired the rights of the film for a whopping Rs. 1.10 cr.
Their basic idea is to remake the film in the combination of Balayya-Rana. If their combo doesn't materialize, they have got their alternate plans. But their wish is to materialize this crazy combo at any cost.
They have already conveyed the matter to Balayya. He reportedly told them that he will watch the film in Prasad Labs.
He told them that he can take a decision on the film if he watches the film in a theater and asked them to wait until lockdown ends.
The producers are thinking that Rana will be a perfect fit for the role played by Prithviraj in the original. They are already having discussions in this regard.
Who is the director? Who is going to helm the movie which has intense human emotions? The makers are not yet decided on it. They are thinking of a top director at the second level.
It's not just any other commercial film so, the director has to present strong emotions on the screen. They are considering Harish Shankar if there is a delay in the Mythri-Pawan Kalyan film.
They are also considering Sandeep Vanga if he doesn't have an objection to take up a remake. Once the lockdown lifted, the project will be set.
