'Acharya' is actually the big film of the season with Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in main leads. But the rush at the advance booking is not as expected.
Though the theatre owners and the multiplexes are blocking the tickets for perception sake, the inside sources say that the advance bookings are not up to the mark.
When asked for the reason, an exhibitor said that the audience have recently watched the nation's biggest films RRR and KGF2 and Acharya is appearing like a small film in comparison to those Titans. In a way this appears to be a true reason for the dullness at the moment.
On the other hand, another exhibitor expressed that the flm wouldn't have been projected as a naxalism based story as it looks obsolete.
It is true that there is no naxalism at present and the teenage audience who are the main patrons of this film find it difficult to connect as they are unaware of naxal movement.
Let us hope that the film breaks the walls of all these suppositions and emerges as a big hit with good talk after the release.
