Nikhil’s milestone 20th film Swayambhu, directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, was initially slated for a February 13 release.
Although the shooting has been completed, post-production is still in progress. It is now learnt that the film has been postponed for a valid reason.
Swayambhu will arrive in theatres on April 10 as a major summer attraction, although official confirmation is awaited.
Given the film’s extensive VFX demands, the makers have entrusted the CG work to some of India’s leading studios.
Notably, the film features five major episodes that rely heavily on visual effects, making precision and finesse absolutely crucial.
