YSRCP leaders allege a conspiracy to prevent ex Chief Minister and YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy from visiting the injured at Tirupati’s Padmavati Medical College, followed by stampede.
Party leaders claim Jagan faced numerous obstacles, including alleged pressure from a film producer and Jana Sena leader from Tirupati, who reportedly urged medical staff to discharge the injured much earlier.
When the staff refused, reports emerged that employees at the medical college faced undue threats. Meanwhile, the injured, aware of Jagan’s visit, protested, questioning why they were being discharged mid-treatment.
Adding to the chaos, two RTC buses were brought in to transport some of the injured, but YSRCP leaders intervened to stop them.
Medical staff allegedly confirmed the producer’s involvement, saying he was pressuring them to prevent Jagan’s visit.
The producer reportedly created a commotion at the hospital, while YSRCP leaders accused Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan of delaying tactics spending more time in the hospital ensuring Jagan fails to come there.
Police halted Jagan’s convoy at Tiruchanur Cross, but he chose to walk a kilometer to Padmavati Medical College.
Jagan eventually reached the hospital and consulted the injured amid dramatic scenes.
