Actress Pooja Hegde has informed that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
Taking to her social media handles to make this announcement, she wrote: She wrote, "Hello everyone. This is to inform you all that I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have isolated and home quarantined myself. I request all those who've come in contact with me recently to get tested too. Thank you for your love & support. I am currently recuperating well Please stay home, stay safe & take care."
The actress is currently part of Vijay's new film, which is referred to as #Thalapathy65.
The actress was supposed to shoot for the film, directed by Kolamaavu Kokila fame Nelson Dilipkumar, with the team in Georgia.
While Vijay and the rest of the crew had flown to the European country on April 7, Pooja had not been able to join the team because she was working on a Telugu film Radhe Shyam as well.
