Heroine Isha Chawla acted in half a dozen films in Telugu. Her filmography includes 'Prema Kavali', 'Poola Rangadu', and 'Srimannarayana'. But her career slowed down after 2016. After a gap of four years, she is making her re-entry.
She is presently working on a Hindi web series. She said that she got a couple of Telugu film offers and she also signed two Tamil films.
When she was asked about the gap, she revealed that she was not completely away from the industry as she used to appear in concerts of RP Patnaik and dance master Bhanu.
She revealed that she was part of several such concerts in Sri Lanka. She also said that she works closely with Ananya Foundation that was launched in 2017.
The foundation provides counseling to the people who are suffering from stress and it has a helpline. She added that the foundation also works for animal welfare, especially for street dogs and cats.
She said that she recently saved a cat. The foundation also conducts awareness programs on cleanliness and hygiene.
When she was asked about how she spent her time during the lockdown, she said that she got stuck in Mumbai. She said that practicing yoga helped her to maintain her sanity.
She said that cooking, reading books, listening to music gave her happiness during tough times. She said that she made it a practice to watch sunrise, sunset daily.
