Robin Hood, a film produced by Mythri Movie Makers ,featuring the Nithiin-Venky Kudumula combination, is slated for a December 25 release.
While the teaser has already been unveiled, it hasn’t managed to generate significant buzz.
Now, they are releasing a song. Leaving aside the question of how the film itself might fare, it appears Mythri producers won’t focus on Robin Hood for another two weeks. That window of opportunity doesn’t seem to exist.
Turning attention to this film just two or three days after the release of Pushpa-2 seems like a challenging task for Mythri producers.
Currently, Mythri is heavily occupied with the smooth and grand launch of Pushpa-2, the Rs 1,000 crore project. By the time they wrap up and catch their breath, it will likely be December 7.
At that point, Robin Hood will have only two weeks left until its release, leaving little time to roll out a robust promotional plan.
Reportedly, Robin Hood marks Nithiin’s most expensive project to date, with a budget exceeding Rs 70 crores. However, the film faces stiff competition.
Amid this intense competition, Robin Hood will struggle to achieve a strong opening unless it creates massive buzz.
Moreover, several other big releases are planned for Christmas between December 20 and 25, adding to the pressure.
At this point, it seems critical for Nithiin himself to take charge and execute a comprehensive promotional strategy for the movie if it is to stand out.
