Pawan Kalyan To Re-Enact Jagan Show!

When YSR Congress party president and Leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy entered Rajamundry in East Godavari district from Kovvur in West Godavari leading a massive rally of party workers and followers on the historic road-cum-rail bridge in the month of June, it was a historic and unprecedented show of strength.

Though the government initially refused permission for Jagan to walk across the bridge along with thousands of people on the pretext that the old bridge would pose danger to them, it had to succumb to public pressure.

The massive show of strength has certainly caused jitters in the ruling Telugu Desam Party.

Apparently realizing the tremendous political mileage the YSRC chief got from his Rajahmundry rally, Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan too has decided to make a similar experiment. Readmore!

On October 9, he has decided to conduct a “Jana Sena Kavaathu” (a march of people’s army) from Kovvur to Rajahmundry to enter East Godavari district.

According to a party spokesman, Pawan would lead a massive rally with thousands of people and walk across the rail-cum-road bridge on Godavari river. The “Kavaathu” will start at 3 pm on that day and reach Rajahmundry by evening.

The Jana Sena president held a meeting with party leaders on Tuesday and asked them to make arrangements for the march on the Rajahmundry bridge.

Since there would be thousands of people joining him in the march, he formed different committees to oversee the arrangements for the yatra.

Needless to say, Pawan wants to prove that he is no less a popular leader than Jagan. Let us see how the response would be for his Jana Sena Kavaathu.
