NTR to come out his political plans soon?

The high-decibel slogans raised by the fans of popular young Tollywood hero N T Rama Rao at Vijayawada on Thursday caused a major embarrassing situation for Telugu Desam Party headed by former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The fans thronged the Annapurna Theatres at Vijayawada in large numbers on the occasion of the release of the trailer of “RRR” starring NTR and Ram Charan Teja and directed by S S Rajamouli.

The fans burst crackers and performed milk bath to the flex boards of NTR, raising Jai NTR slogans.

But what was embarrassing to the TDP leadership was the slogan: “Future CM NTR, People’s leader NTR.” Readmore!

Speaking to media on the occasion, an NTR fans’ association leader lashed out at some TDP leaders were dragging NTR into unnecessary controversies by raising issues which were no way concerned to him.

“Even those who cannot get four votes for the party, are making critical comments against NTR,” he criticised.

Warning such leaders against speaking bad about NTR again, the association leader said very soon, NTR would take an important decision for the sake of people.

“He would come out with a statement on all issues. Jai NTR and Next CM NTR,” he said.

Though NTR has been keeping away from the TDP politics for quite some time, his latest statement condemning the alleged abusive words against Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari in the state assembly came in for sharp criticism from within the TDP.

Reason was that NTR did not take anybody’s name in his statement while condemning the incident – neither that of Bhuvaneshwari nor the TDP and not even the YSRC leaders who allegedly used foul words.

While Naidu remained silent on NTR’s reaction, TDP leaders like Varla Ramaiah and Buddha Venkanna said NTR’s statement was disappointing to the TDP.

“It was like a lecture of spiritual preacher Chaganti Koteshwara Rao,” they said.

For quite some time, there has been a demand that NTR takes over the reins of the TDP, which has been down in the dumps after a series of electoral debacles. The slogans of his fans on Thursday seem to be an indication of the future developments.
