Starting his journey as a distributor, Razesh Danda has now carved a strong identity as a producer as well as distributor.
Celebrating his birthday on Ugadi, he is gearing up with a promising and crazy line up of films.
The next release from Hasya Movies is Black Gold, starring Samyuktha.
“It’s a story between a police officer who never relies on a gun and a villain whose only weapon is a gun. It’s a completely fresh premise. We are mounting it on a grand scale. This will be a very new kind of role for Samyuktha. Only five days of talkie shoot are left, and we’re aiming for a June or July release,” he shared.
He is also producing a film with Allari Naresh.
“We’ll wrap the shoot in the first week of next month and are planning a summer release. The title will be announced soon.”
Razesh Danda has more projects lined up.
“We locked a script with Aadi Saikumar even before Shambhala released. The pooja ceremony is set for the 27th of this month. We also have a film with Allu Sirish, directed by Solo Life fame Subbu. Both films will go on floors simultaneously. Talks are also underway for a film with Adivi Sesh.”
He confirmed that script work for the Samajavaragamana sequel is underway, while another project for ETV Win is in the final stages of casting.
“Our film in association with ETV Win is a courtroom drama inspired by a real-life incident. The core idea is quite fresh. This film will release in theatres.”
Tasting a massive hit last year with Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp, Razesh Danda is now carefully choosing projects with fresh and distinctive storylines.
