Sukumar Is The Culprit- Why Blame DSP?

Devi Sri Prasad is being blamed for the delay in locking the final copy of "Pushpa 2." It’s seen as an insult to Devi Sri Prasad, who has now been sidelined.

The production team has brought in three other music directors—Thaman, Ajaneesh Loknath, and Sam CS—to work on the background score, with each taking responsibility for a specific portion. This decision was made by both the producer and the director to meet the deadline for the planned release date of December 5.

The producer is reportedly in full tension over whether the film will actually hit the screens on December 6 as scheduled.

With these developments, it appears as if Devi Sri Prasad is being unfairly blamed for the delay. However, the real reason is Sukumar’s prolonged shooting schedule, as he has continued filming even now. Any music director would need adequate time to work on each portion and deliver a high-quality background score. Readmore!

Sukumar, in the name of perfectionism, has been shooting the film for three years, and yet it remains incomplete. A director is responsible not only for creativity but also for meeting deadlines while maintaining quality.

Some in the industry speculate that there may be an effort by certain forces to strain the professional relationship between Sukumar and DSP, possibly to push DSP out of the industry due to professional rivalries. Whether or not this is true is uncertain.

However, if there is any truth to it, the fact that other music directors were brought in to replace DSP suggests inefficiency on Sukumar's part.

"Had Sukumar completed the shoot at least two months ago, DSP would have had sufficient time to score the music. Sukumar is the only culprit. Why blames DSP?", is the comment made by an insider.
