Varra team operated from YSRCP central office?

YSRCP social media activist Varra Ravindra Reddy from Pulivendula in Kadapa district, who was arrested by the police in connection with the alleged posting of abusive and obscene comments against the Telugu Desam Party and other leaders, operated from YSRCP central office at Tadepalli.

This was disclosed by Kurnool Range DIG Koya Praveen at a press conference, after presenting Varra and his associates Subba Reddy and Uday, before the media on Monday.

“Investigations revealed that the YSRCP social media activists posted the comments sitting in the YSRCP office in Tadepalli under the supervision of the district convenor, particularly from the PVR Icon Building in Tadepalli,” Koya Praveen said.

The accused had posted obscene comments and images targeting Chief Minister Chandrababu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Home Minister Anita, and others. He mentioned that the accused were taken into custody near Markapuram on Sunday. Readmore!

"The language used by the accused is highly obscene. In Arab countries, such acts would attract severe punishment. They used abusive language against the families of the CM and Deputy CM,” the DIG said.

"Varra previously worked at Bharathi Cements, and the other two are also associated with YSRCP's social media team. The accused admitted in their statements that they utilized employees of the Digital Corporation in favour of YSRCP," Koya Praveen explained.

They also posted against judicial officers and targeted women family members and children. The police had identified 45 individuals involved in such activities. Cases have been registered against the accused under multiple sections.

“The accused morphed photos of leaders and posted them. We identified that they operated 40 YouTube channels, using them to make obscene remarks. Women leaders in power were specifically targeted with these posts," he added.

The DIG said the posts the accused had created cannot be read normally and are repulsive to a civilized society.

“Those who make such posts about women are seen as belonging to a demonic mindset," Praveen asserted.
