Vijay D Denies Filing Police Complaints Over Reviews

Vijay Deverakonda recently addressed rumors surrounding allegations that he had filed police complaints against individuals trolling his latest film, "Family Star," co-starring Mrunal Thakur.

Directed by Parasuram Petla, the film received mixed reviews upon its release in both Tamil and Telugu languages, with some fans praising it while others criticized it.

Journalist Haricharan Pudipeddi shared a screenshot of his WhatsApp conversation with Vijay Deverakonda, debunking the claims of a police complaint.

The screenshot contained a tweet alleging Vijay Deverakonda's involvement in filing such a complaint, along with a photo of him with the police at a press conference.

When asked by the reporter if there was any truth to the report, Vijay simply responded with a "Nope," clarifying that the picture was from "Covid times" and that no such action had been taken.

The clarification came after a picture circulated on social media featuring a man showing documents to the police.

Several users claimed that the man was a member of Vijay's team who had filed a police complaint against those trolling Vijay Deverakonda and his latest film "Family Star" on behalf of the actor.

"Family Star" marks the first collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur. The film also features Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, and Ravi Babu, with a special appearance by Rashmika Mandanna.

"Family Star" showcases Parasuram Petla's dual role as writer and director, produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) under the guidance of Dil Raju and Sirish, with Vasu Varma serving as co-writer.
